Price Increases and Feb Event

#1

All,

Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to race in the saturday sprint and not the sunday. With the price increases accross the board, I am trying to find any possible place to cut down on expenses for the weekend as I want to participate in the Friday test and tune.

Thanks.

I’ll be a regular this year. Stop by my rig and chow down. I never buy food at the track since I bring my RV. Including Friday, you will have 2x dinner (unless you eat the snacks that NASA provides on Sat night and call that dinner" an 3x breakfast/lunch. Easily $75 before you know it. Register both days and enjoy the w/e.

I usually have a reasonable amount of food around and I have a friend with a warehouse where I can generally get meat (hamb/hot dogs/chicken/etc) for $1/lb. Ususally $30 or so will feed the crowd. Once the season gets underway, we can talk about a "fund" for food if enough people are interested.

Wow, that is quite an offer, thank you very much.

Wow, that is a great idea. I would gladly contribute to a "fund" once I see how many events Ill be making it too.

That’s really cool Eric…just figure out a way to let folks take some of the cooking off your hands or you may miss qualifying while your at the grill.

It’s really hard to drive a racer with oven mitts…though they are fireproof!!

I’m gonna figure out a way to get out there some this season, even if I run "fun", you cats are great.

jon
Jon,
We generally do not do one-day entries particularly Sat only. Occasionally people who have a pressing reason (like brother getting married…etc) can get a one day approval from Chris Cobetto, but it has to come from him.

Sean,

Thanks for the heads up.

One last question if you do not mind, for the enduro, is it 445 per driver or per car?

Thanks.
Jon

Jon
The fee is for one entry…not per driver

I am a bit confused. There is an option for a Sunday sprint race (in the morning) for 269.00 instead of the 440+ $$ enduro event, correct?

At least that is what I thought I signed up for…

The $269 is for Saturday and Sunday Sprint races. The Endurance race is Sunday only.

We changed things around a little and shortened the enduro by 30 mins and the weekend now has double sprints AND the enduuro on Sunday.
