Really??? You think dad has secrets? I can tell you this, he’s a one lap wonder. If it wasn’t for his qualifying, he’d be good, but not as good as he is. For some reason he can pull off a phenominal qualifying, where as I can’t do squat until the green flag drops. His secret is qualifying, not that that’s much of a secret.
Maybe that’s why one of his favorite country songs goes something like "I ain’t as good as I once was, but I’m as good once as I ever was" or something like that ;)
Got back last night from Pocono and overall the weekend was real fun. Bob, it was nice meeting you on Saturday, hope to see you out there soon in the E30. Lucked out with the weather and it only drizzled a little during the race on Saturday and stayed dry for Sunday. I think I turned a 1:04:1xx (results aren’t up yet) so that can be added to the track times. I wouldn’t call it much of a record since I was the only one there, but it should give people a reference point. I brought my camera too and taped the race on Sunday, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax3qFn8S-fE It’s only the first couple laps, including me messing up the start, since I was pretty much DEing it after that point.

It was good to meet you too, Sean. Thanks for answering all my questions. Hopefully the car will be finished and racing late in 2008. Then you’ll have someone to make your lap times look good.
