If you have E30 withdrawls, just walk 2 doors down Peachtree and you can view my pile of E30 detritus parked in the bottom of the parking garage.

PS - We will miss you.

Well just don’t miss Alabama. I’m sitting out CMP also, but will be heading west at the end of the month.

#43

So, is anyone racing at CMP?
Couldn’t find Jim’s official list.

Sounds like it’s going to be a thin crowd both at CMP and Barber (since historically Barber draws fewer than the norm). Don’t worry, there’s still another race at CMP later in the year :S

#45

I just signed up today. Man, I need more time!!! Things have been busy but I guess that’s a good thing.

As of this evening in Spec E30:

Zawrotny, William
Taylor, Alonzo
Patton Robert
DeVinney, Stephen
Switzer, Fred
Gress, Scott
Robinson, Jim
Patton, Laura
Levie, Jim

There are 5 cars registered in E2 for the enduro and 4 of them are Spec E30’s. That should be interesting and fun.

I’d love to do the sprint races but my son is pitching one of the Georgia Tech games; I just can’t miss that! I’m going to win the enduro and go home. Al can pick up my scraps on Saturday.

I’m seriously thinking about making the 8+ hour haul to Barber… I’m Jonesin’ for some track time (not an euphemism for some special dude time with Shady-B)

You guys have fun. No Carnage but post plenty of updates/reports…

#51

I’m planning to be at Barber, but no CMP. I’m with Scott… ready to get back on track!

#52

Want to be at CMP for the sprints, but juggling $$$, fixing the rocker arm, an event with the in-laws (is that really a conflict?), and not enough hours before Friday departure. A maybe as of tonight.

#53

Come on Jon, we’ll buy your pizza on Friday night.

Does anyone know if the gates will be open Thursday night No one is answering that question on the NASA forum. I want to get there Thursday night.

#55

Bill -

You may want to check with the Roush club since they are conducting the Friday track day. Looks like NASA registration opens at 2:00 so I would expect they are arriving that morning to set up.

Bill, The schedule shows the driver meeting at 2:30 and the race from 4-7.

Guess that means I shouldn’t get there Thursday night.

But if you have that “no donuts” thing down, you can arrive around 2:45.

Call the track and ask Sylvia ( I think that’s her name?).

You never know, but I’m just guessing that this subject MIGHT come up.
