Being the most recent Southeast Spec E30 race winner, I am personally offended at this vicious, personal affront. Clearly, I hold the crown for “Mediocre Race Winner.” :woohoo:
I’d like to borrow your car from Turn 7 to Turn 11 each lap.
RE: hot start problem - I thought I recommended that you flush the fuel system with pump gas after you use that $40/gal stuff from VP. It’ll play hell with your injectors - not to mention rubber fuel lines.

Taxi runs good. it was leading Geiger on Sunday before it did the cut-out thing again. Oh, well…
Laura finish 4th when driving it on Saturday.
Should be fun. Maybe Travis will stay home, Geiger will not be there, Johan is always last minute, Moses is busy with a new kid…on and on and on. Maybe Laura will be the only one to race. There you go, just like the old days of SE spec e30 racing.
Regards, RP
As of today in Spec E30 we have:
Switzer, Fred
Gress, Scott (is Scott’s car running or in a thousand pieces?)
Patton Laura
Levie, Jim
Looks good to me… I could get second behind Laura. I’m all about that!
Come on you turkeys, register.
Alright guys I am out. Uncle Sam and the very large ever growing puddle of oil I just found under my car pretty much rules me out.
Jim and Bill I will be happy to come down and crew for you during the Enduro. Go team pit-stop:silly:

That sucks. Have you located the source of the leak?
We’d be proud to have your help during the enduro.
I’m trying to put it together for the enduro, so Rowdy Dog Racing (AKA: Team Other People’s Rubber) may have representation there to act as the spoiler.

Does this mean I get the 6th place trophy if nobody else shows up? :silly:

Pi are not square, Pi are round.

Reminds me of a story. When I was 8 I spent a weekend on a dairy farm visiting Uncle Darryl and some cousins. We spent the day running around the woods shooting anything that moved with our pellet guns. As in the kind you have to pump up and can launch a pellet or bb with a good fraction of the muzzle velocity of a .22. One cousin, my age but his name escapes me, thought it would be cool to pump his pellet gun up to max and then set it right next to a fresh cowpie. It was really fresh. Almost entirely liquid with just enough viscosity to give it 3" of depth.
Although blasting a liquid cow pie with a pellet gun struck me as an interesting experiment, I thought maybe I’d observe from a safe distance. The rocket scientist cousin pulled the trigger and was instantly covered in cowpie. The bolt of compress air had made wet “THWACK” sound and wet cowpie had gone everywhere.
He was a mess. I might have gotten a little on my shoe.

PS - Just to recap this thread…
Hey Y’all! Sign Up!
M3Bill’s motor’s just an old junker.
Geegar “concedes” victory.
Pshrink claims 6th place trophy (out of 4 entrants).
Damion throws down some serious future smack.
Pshrink gets all mathy on us.
Ranger reads “pi” and takes us back to his childhood cowpie experiments.
Hijack!
This thread needs a hijack as it’s veered way too far into TMI.
Anyway, I’m out for CMP. Work got in the way. Sorry to be missing it.
Just registered for the sprints…to avoid the dreaded late fee…hope the car survives the enduro.
Al
Looking like I’m going to be working
I’ll be at the Ritz in Atlanta wishing I was at the track and sleeping in the back of my truck
