Photo of several cars at VIR?

#1

I’ve found good photos of each car at VIR but I need to get the VIR weekend review to Grassroots and would like to include a photo of several Spec E30 cars racing together. Does anyone have a few or know where to find some?

If we can’t find a good group shot and I have to go with one car, guess which car I’m choosing…

And it won’t be the version with the drag motor sticking out of the hood.

I’ve got all those I posted in the Gallery under "VIR Feb 2007 Sprint Race"

http://spece30.com/component/option,com_zoom/Itemid,48/catid,27/

I have several others. I can check and see if I’ve got some that are more of what you’re looking for.

If you see any that you’d like higher res files on… let me know

Carter,
I ordered a CD from the photog at the event. It should be here in a day or two. I’ll let you know if there are any multi car shots.

Be careful with those photos being published, as there might be copyright issue.

Yup, my experience has been that photographers are happy to let you use their photos when they get credit. I’ll be sure to ask though.

Personally, this is my favorite.

Damn, I wish I could’ve made it out there that weekend, I usually have a few hundred photos to pick through…and being published in Grassroots would be awesome!

Ken - I agree. That is a great shot.

here’s a good group shot from fandsenterprises.

If this doesn’t deserve GRM coverage, don’t know what does…

there was a recent discussion on improvedtouring.com about "where all the ITS cars went" and showing Mike’s VIR video. Someone (who was there I think) said that the cars were looking scruffy due to contact - we don’t need any more publicity associated with contact!
cheers,

How about the winning car from Saturday?

Mine looks alot like yours just that I have it on both the front and back corners. This happened in the second lap of the enduro at the start of the front straight.

I put in my 2 cents.

I went over to IT and read the post. A lot of them are right on about what will happen to the series if we aren’t careful. Luckily Carter and Mike seem to be keeping a keen eye on things. I don’t envy their job.

Being quite new to the series as a driver but not as a shop owner I would say the Sunday enduro was a bit of an anomoly. If it weren’t we would be able to buy that new tow rig no problemo

I notice you have some VIRG (like BRG but not British) just like me! I think it goes better with your orange than our silver.
