On-Track Damage insurance update.

#1

Hey y’all,

Been a while since I’ve posted so I thought I’d come back with some pertinant info. I’ve been working on learning about the various On-Track physical damage insurance programs (OTD’s) that are available and I feel that I have a pretty good handle on how they work. I am an independent insurance agent and have access to programs from multiple carriers so I can be fairly unbiased. I can offer up my help with learning about the programs but I don’t really want to go into that in a forum setting - so if you want info just shoot me an email at either tomhall@hall-insurance.com or
tom@rowdydogracing.com.
I also have multiple sources for Storage / Transport / Paddock (STP)insurance, and the rates are quite good. Your personal auto policy probably only provides liability coverage for the trailer while its in tow - probably no physical damage or comprehensive coverage for the trailer or any contents, so if stuff gets stollen you’re probably out of luck. And don’t count on your Homeowners policy to cover the stuff completely. Most programs offer about $50,000 in coverage for around $500 per year, so its affordable peace of mind (the intent of insurance).

Thanks
