O'Fest and Spec E30?

Natalie didn’t mention that we raced at last years (2008’s) O’fest at Watkins Glen, and, since we are crazy enough to trailer from Tampa to New York, we would be crazy not to go to this year’s one in Atlanta.

Weird thing for me…not one 2002 race car there. I’m pretty sure this has to be the the first O’fest without the car that really started it all on the track for a race. Really weird having the oldest car on the track.

We’ll see. It’s tempting… I thought I heard something saying the Spec E30 cars can run as is and wouldn’t be required to have the full BMW Club Racing graphics. I don’t know if it would be the best idea for You, Me, Tom and, Eric all Racing at the same time. Hmmmm…

The official word is that BMWCCA decals are required. BMWCCA released some guidance on that a couple weeks ago, and it’s posted here somewhere. But there are folks doing die-cut versions of the decals that aren’t so bad. Unofficially, well, YMMV.
