Anybody going to attend? I heard the weather will stink and the Championship is already sewn up so…
I don’t want to drive all the way up there and be the only guy so I should probably stay home and get some “Honey Dos” done.

Ha Ha Kevin, you know you will be there as will I! Rick Row is racing and Matt Row is hopefully going to test for his license. Oh, did you all see this months Grassroots with Poppy in centerfold!
Poppy as the centerfold?
Probably sitting in his easy chair in the pits, sipping on his 3rd GNT with NFL. Great…I have visual of that.
NFL and visions of the Ducks thrashing Stanford this weekend! Isn’t Fall great!!

Not wanting to be a region poacher (Buttonwillow), but there may be something closer to home (Buttonwillow) that you could cherry pick some newbies (Buttonwillow).

OOK OK you talked me into it. With the way my car drinks water, I may not make it past practice though. If my car is going to take a dump it might as well be at a beautiful location like Infineon!

GRM Magazine did it up right! Pages 170-171.
Way to go Poppy!

Kev…I like your style buddy! Go big or don’t go at all! See you next weekend!
Ok for the folks that don’t care and do, you are going to hear it anyway. The Ducks kicked Stanford’s ass 52-32 and moved up to #3 in the nation putting Boise State in its proper spot at 4th. For all you ACC, SEC, Big 12, Big East and Big 10 fans you better keep a close eye on the DUCKS…
And for all the NorCal boys GO GIANTS, NL West Champions, O’YA!!!
I’m going to have a G&T NFL and admire this month’s Center Fold again!
BTW some people were asking about the weather and it looks to nice with the temps in the low 80deg.
I’m definitely in. It seems like it’s been forever since I’ve been racing. I will probably supersize to GTS too.
I did go to LAguna Seca with CFRA a couple of weeks ago, but ya know. If your not racing it just isn’t the same, especially at Laguna (power track).
Lets get a roll call going.
I’ll be there for sure and since I won a free supersize at Thunderhill back in August I will be running GTS also:laugh: .
See Yall there!!!

OK where is dinner Friday night? We need to have the first annual Mickey Awards at dinner. I will explain more about it at dinner.
First of all, all the drinks are on the new guys! you know who you are.
Second we will present the Mickey awards and to wet your appetite, Sean, Bennett and Jim will be recipients. If Gary shows up I will present him his wine from August…if he does not show, we,… will drink his wine!
Lastly I truly never thought I would be singing the song “Centerfold” and thinking of Bennett,… yet I am as I hold up the Grass Roots Mag.

Somehow I think I should steer clear of the “Mickey Awards” one never knows what the “Shoe” is up to especially when he calls you by your real name. BUT unfortunately or fortunately I will be at the GIANTS game sipping a G&T and munching a Chi Chi Bowl.
GO GIANTS

Sounds like most guys are not coming in until late friday or early Sat, so… We will have the awards Saturday night around BBQ time in the Spec E30 Paddack area. After we eat, grab a arm full of beers and we will meet near Bennett’s Throne for some presentations.
Looks like we have quite a few racers, including the winning and runner up car from the National Championship. Also a Centerfold Model will be in attendance.
I see Tony is joining us so we have asked NASA to attach tall bright flags to all Emergency support vehicles and corner worker stands.
Sean will be driving the red Baron which bucks him off like a young wild Mustang so nobody worry where he qualifies,… but I would give him some room.
