Well guys, I’m going to miss each of you this weekend, especially seeing “our centerfold” in the flesh.

I will be spending 2 wonderful days at the Inn at Spanish Garden in Santa Barbara with my beautiful wife relaxing, eating, shopping and changing the oil. It was a tough decision to make but much easier when when I went into my trailer (actually, Kevins old trailer) & realized that it wasn’t just a bad dream, that in fact, I did have a wrecked car in there…THANKS DONNY.
And Lil Red is still waiting for an heart transplant after eating a grenade and throwing a rod at TH…so there you have it.

Race your hearts out, think of all the fun I will be having without you & watch out for Nichols, I hear he will be charging to the front no matter where he qualifies.
See you in November.

Fixing your car would have been cheaper than a weekend in SB, being that the “Fall Rut” is in full swing I understand why you have that deer in the head light look on your face, you will need to drink lots of that Muscle Milk, have a great weekend!

BTW Giants Win, Lincy 14K’s

Groundskeepers also have been notified to cut the grass in 7a so Sean can keep the red Barron … Red.

Crazy…
Mayhem…
Disaster…
Exciting…
I am not sure how to describe my impression of this weekend. And I was only there for Saturday! As most of you know my custom water injection, finally turned in to a water injection and Oil spewing disaster so my personal racing weekend ended before it started. (BTW: Very Important note- THE only work on my car I did NOT have Speed Trapp Racing perform was my Head work and that is where my problems came from. Everything STR has done has been awesome!)

From my view point in turn 2 it was an exciting race! I missed the Mayhem, since I could not see the starts. It was a difficult situation with the change of just 2 HC cars in front. I for once was not guilty of any wrong doing as I was in the stands. I was still miserable not to be racing.

I think the Championship is open again and November will be interesting…

Below I am going to attach pictures if I am successful and hopefully some of you will get a kick out of them. It was great to see such a big crowd of racers.

For those of you who were not there, the First Race Mickey Awards were presented from Nationals. The Good, Bad and Ugly! Greg Peterson, accepted the award for Bennett McMicking for the GOOD in honor of his great Start in the Championship Race at Nationals. The BAD went to Jim Bucha for his start which sent him right to the back! And Sean Trapp received the UGLY Award for his spinning on multiple occasions which ultimately sent him to the back, so far back in-fact, that he managed to finish behind two cars which did not even finish the race! Congrats guys, carry on the tradion, you should have plenty of material after this weekend to present next month!!!

Gary Reiger also received belated awards for great racing in August and acknowledgement of his runner up performance at Nationals, Congrats again Gary!!!

Scoot will surely do a big write up on this weekend also.

Please post your videos of the action on Vimeo and post the links here. Also write up your accounts of your viewpoint of the action. I probably wont see you all until next year. I had a fabulous year racing with all of you. Thanks for welcoming me in. Welcome to the new guys. Bryan got some new guy kisses on his car…I think.

The best group in racing! NorCal Spec E30!!!
