Well, it’s been open for a couple of days, but since there wasn’t a post on the forum, I thought I’d make sure everyone knew. This is the final Mid-Atlantic event of the season.
See ya there!

What he said. But we’ll both be in HPDE, no cages yet. We’d be happy to pit with other racers though. The EZ-Up should fit in the car since there’s no interior.

So far only Mr. Taylor is registered to race.
I’ll be there too! HPDE3, regestered already. Cooler weather and foggy mornings… I Love It!

Who else is planning on going to this race? I am trying to decide whether or not to make the long haul to Summit or just get some track time at the much closer VIR HPDE that same weekend.
I will likely be there if the doctors clear me. No not the shrinks, but the orthos, I busted my right shoulder up fairly badly.
I need a chance to race al t again and hang out with HPDE 3’s fastest cat Erle.
I will be away at a wedding - yes this race season has been one big party…away from the track
My car, which is extremely capable of podium finishes, is available for rental, although I will not be able to provide support at the track.

Hey Jon, sorry to hear about your shoulder. I can understand its hard to drive with a busted shoulder. I’ve had a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder now for my last to races. Kind of makes it hard to shift but you hardly notice in the heat of the moment. Hope you can make it.

Suck it up Jon;) I ran summit hyperfest w/ some broken ribs… (due to a pair of go-karting incidents;)
But seriouslly, I hope it gets better. Being busted up is no fun - It slows down work on other projects.

Bump for an update.
The two HPDE cars of Loercher and Varnes are together and ready. Should we try to paddock together?

Duh…a few days ago I realized that my bicycle ride to the beach is next weekend. A friend/neighbor and I have been planning this for four months and the families are driving down to meet us there.
I hate to miss the Summit race (along with the ride with a new Spec E30 driver) but I wish everyone good racing and good luck.
I also hope NASA Mid Atlantic can get enough interest for a year-end banquet so we can celebrate another fun year of Mid Atlantic Spec E30 Racing.
Carter
Well, damn.
Anyone else want to ride with me for a session or two in HPDE3 and tell me how to drive this thing?
David:
Talk to Brain. He knows how to drive a Spec E30 car, that’s for sure.
'Sorry to miss it.
