Not So Fast Congrats to JONNY!!!

Guys,

I blew it. I know I was saying that I needed to win both races this past weekend in order to win the championship but I was mistaken. When I was figuring the points for myself I forgot to swap positions at CMP for Jon and I. The points on the site aren’t currently accurate because the positions for the Saturday race at CMP were never corrected to reflect my going off in 11 and then doing the whole position swap thing that was published on this forum.

My math shows that Jonny won by a 10 point margin so really a HUGE congrats goes to Jon. It was a great season for sure and Jon is a wonderful driver, a great friend and a stellar addition to the Spec E30 Paddock!!!

Yo Jonny!!! WAY TO GO. Congrats on winning the 2007 NASA Mid Atlantic Bimmerparts Spec E30 Championship!!!

My apologies to the champ - Jonny, congrats! Both you SOB’s raced your butts off this year, and it was a real pleasure running with you for 1/2 the season. Can’t wait to run again!

Thanks Chris, Scott, Vic and Sean. I’ve had more fun this season racing with everyone then a man ought to. 26 cars in Februar?y, how friggin’ awesome is that?? Let’s do it again!! The Spec E30 family is the best, thanks for all the great competitive spirit.

And Chris, you are truely amazing… a 1:26.3 at Summ?it… I’m not worthy:)Championship or whatever, thanks for everything you do for our sport!! You are an incredible driver, sportsman and friend.

Hey Carter, thanks for inventing E30 and making it the best racer group in NASA…heck, in all of racing.
