Newest spec E30 driver

You may recall a thread a couple months ago where I was looking for a car. I ended up buying Eric Rupert’s DP Motorworks prepared car. Sadly, I won’t be able to do it justice as he was a far more experienced driver then I.

My home track is Roebling. I look forward to meeting y’all and wearying you with constant questions. I don’t have my license yet, but there should be an SCCA racing license week in Feb or Mar.

I’ll post a photo when I get the new decals on it. That way you’ll be able to recognize it as it disappears in your rear view mirror.

Welcome. It’s great to have another Southeast driver join the Spec E30 ranks.

If you plan to racein Spec E30 you may want to consider doing your comp school with NASA. They run a very good program.

BMW CCA has a race school there in December 6/7. There will be several Spec e30 racers there racing that weekend. Do the school and then come out and race.

Lol, signed up for the school an hour ago. Going to enter W2W tentatively tho. Watching you guys jockey for position makes my hair stand on end, and my eyes go wide as saucers.

We’ll see how my confidence is running after 20-30 DE days in the new car.
