Hello everyone,

I didn’t see a new member thread so I figured I’d post here. I am in NJ and new to spec e30, in fact i am new to NASA in general and had a chance to meet and chat with Sean Curan last season who was/is a true ambassador of the series. I also received a warm welcome from Scott Gress as well as Brian Casella whom I have come to know as a stand up guy from dealing with my friends at Stable Energies on a regular basis. I initially was going to do this with a friend but I am now building him a GTS e36 M3.

My car is a 90 325is in BRONZIT !.. at least for now…

I look forward to getting to meet you all and having fun out there.

Best
Rich Goncalves

Thanks guys! Can’t wait!!!

Bronzit is a great choice. We always need more of those.

Because they don’t last long.

Lol. I don’t know why that’s true, but it really is.

LOL, is it because they blend in with the pasture hence they get taken out or
is it because all bronzit cars were built on the Monday morning hangover assembly line ?
Where is the beer mug emoticon dammit !!

You think anyone will notice if I bolt a small supercharger on mine?

Welcome to the NE…How well do you know Sean??? Calm, cool, and awfully polite (off track!)

Supercharger - We only allow Tornado brand and it’s minimum three in series

HAHA, I forgot all about those, that’d be awesome but why in series? I’d like to run 3 air filters if possible. I don’t know Sean well, as I stated, I met him last year at Thunderbolt and chatted briefly. It is racing afterall and I’ve seen you guys run on a few occasions…:woohoo: know fully well what I am getting into !!

Welcome Rich. Where are you in NJ?

I am currently in Hamilton, but should be in Old Bridge soon (buying a new house)

Hope to see you around, if I can ever get my car on track.

Thanks !

I am in Woodbridge though not for much longer as we too are on the hunt for a house. We are going further up north, a little closer to work for both myself and the wife! Gotta make that push to get out there!!

Hey Rich, good to see you on here. How’s the car coming? I can’t believe Bill gave in to the GTS3 temptation haha. We’ll just have to get him to switch for 2014.

Let me know if you have any questions about anything.

Hey Sean!
Good to hear (read) from you! Yes, Bill and I had decided to do spec e30 together and eventually have two cars but I knew his heart was set on GTS3…so his M3 is well underway in build and same for my spec e30. You know what I did not see anywhere is the 2013 schedule with race school days…I need to get my NASA license, I have a EMRA TT license currently.
I may take you up on your offer and pick your brain if I run into any build or "NASA navigational"questions.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I feel at home.

Best
Rich
