Write up, what write up? On Saturday, it’s the same ole song and dance. Robert qualifies .2 faster than Brandon Smith. In the race Brandon drives away from Robert Robert has excuses for being slow. Steve struggles with car teething problems. Jack is the lone SU racer and gains valuable race experience. On Sunday Kieth Smith takes the SO win, Steve blows up his engine and Robert sits out the race. Robert’s newest excuse: the clutch is slipping. Jack gains more experience in SU. Ask Kieth about exciting Miata drivers. . . All the while Cullen races his BMWCCA car (KP) in the GTS 2 race. But, we’re gearing up for next year to have some bigger fields in the SE area as Cullen, Patton and Chuck Talyor have new cars at the roll cage guy for next year. Ya’ll come join us for some fun. Regards, Robert Patton.
Carter, Git er done…As was bantered around last year, we should call the race where the majority of MA racers invade the SE our All Star event. Likewise , us guys in the SE will invade MA territory to be at your All Star event. As you can see I’ll use any gimmic to drum-up participation in SE region events. Looks like I’ll miss the CCA Roebling race in December. See you at VIR in February? Regards, Robert.
