The new rules remove the ambiguity that made some drivers believe that squeezing someone off the track was an acceptable defensive move. See pages 79 and 82. The changes in the applicable paragraphs are a result of our conversations last Fall with NASA honcho Jerry Kunzman.
For those of us who are possibly unobservant morons, could you please point to the specific changes? I didn’t notice any difference between 2014 & 2015 CCR regarding squeezing. For that matter, I didn’t see anything in the competition section that was marked as having been changed.

Disregard. I saw what I wanted to see, not what was actually there. I’ll go reopen that can of worms.
