New Parts - Did I forget something?

#1

Getting ready to put the new tranny in and have a list of parts that I’m about ready to hit submit order on, also doing some regular maintenance. Anything I should do while I have these parts out that I’m forgetting or recommended?

New Clutch kit
flywheel resurface
New Guibo
New Torx Bolts
New Manifold to Downpipe Studs & Bolts
New Manifold to Head Studs & Bolts
New Manifold to Head Gasket
New Exhaust to Manifold Gasket with Heat Shield
AKG Poly Motor & Tranny Mounts

Timing Belt & Tensioner
Water Pump & Gasket
Front Crankshaft Seal
Intermediate Shaft Seal
Valve Cover Gasket
Fuel Filter
Bosch WR8LC+ Super Spark Plugs
80 degree thermostat

There was some oil lurking around when I pulled the flywheel off, still new to this so not sure what that is telling me but my common sense says not good??

Chris, good to hear about all the progress you guys are making.

Two additional seals to consider while the trans is out are the output shaft and the selector rod. Much easier to do with the trans on the floor. I have a turned down 30mm socket for the output shaft nut if you need it.

I also had to do a little re-surface of the selector rod detent ball/spring cover on top of the trans as it was seeping a little bit also.

Are changing out the studs/nuts on Manifold->Head and Manifold->Downpipe recommended or waste of $?

if the manifold to block seal is good I wouldn’t touch it. When you remove the downpipe you may find that you destroy the studs or nuts and many curse words will be required to finish removing them.
