Yeah so I am new to the forum, i just picked up a 88 325e… I am wanting to build a spec e30 race car. I am moving on from HPDE’s to door to door fun. Any advice that I can get will be great.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome aboard. I am well into a build myself so have plenty of mistakes, err, advise to share.

I am in the southeast in orlando fl. I got the car for free from my boss who bought it for the motor. He has a euro 323i and blew the motor up. So he got that and i can have the 323 motor for free if i want to rebuild it. But i am not sure i can use that in the car.

The rules don’t include that motor, but why would you want to rebuild that motor when you could buy a junk motor for $500 or less?
