Hey Guys,
I need to find an E30 to replace mine. I have not been looking too hard and have seen a couple but the extra eyes out there could hook me up. I live close to Summit so finding a car near there is a good thing. Cheap is also a good thing since we have a new addition to the family arriving any day now. The problem seems to be the transportation costs are exceeding the value of some of the cars out there…Ughhh!!!
Need E30
Sean, I have an E30 that is sitting at a body shop in Pasedena, MD (near Annapolis) that I’m looking to sell cheap. It’s definitely a project car. I bought it on e-bay a while back, and Alex and I took some body parts off of it after our first accident. The car has sat for a while, but ran great before it went into hibernation. It’s an "e" car - white, 2 door (I think - Man, it’s been a while since I’ve seen it), and would need a lot of work to be track worthy. I’d be happy to trade for parts, or a little money.

Check the Nat’l Capital Chapter BMWCCA forums – there are a couple of cheap E30’s for sale, IIRC.
Thanks vic,
I want to find a running i car, I just don’t have the time or space for another long project. If it drives, I am way ahead.
Hi Sean,
My schedule is pretty unpredictable now that I work for a Chinese firm (missed 3 events last year) but I would be happy to try and help. I have a 16’ trailer and would be happy to bring something to you. Let me know. My numbers are: HOME: (919) 929-1596, OFFICE: (919) 254-9715 and CELL: (919) 259-2100 …this one rings anywhere in the world.
If the schedules work I’m there!

Hey Sean,
Yes, I work for Lenovo now. Have to say that there are some very positive aspects to being out from the IBM fold. Downsides too, but overall it’s been a big improvement. Hope your holidays were good for you and your family Sean!

Thanks, all is well and we are expecting future driver #2 any day now. We will have to talk at the track sometime about IBM, etc. I was curious about that whole deal.
