NASA se30 in scca autoX class

#1

I know alot of you guys probably run in scca autocross events, I am running an autox this weekend and was wondering where you guys class the NASA spec e30. I am building the my car with the goal of doing spec. Right now we have no interior, race seats, 6 point cage, hawk brake pads and SS brake lines. The suspension is stock and the engine is stock. haha i know we are kinda building this thing backwards but we are having fun.

Thanks

Not sure how many people actually do AutoX here, but my guess is you’d be in some sort of prepared class since you have no interior. Everything else that has been (or not been) done makes little to no difference. I think the one event I did put me in EP.

Yup, prepared class. It’s either E or F, I can’t remember, but you can look it up on the SCCA web site. At my local events, we are the only ones in that class, so it’s really a SE30 class anyway.

haha well i will be at your local events. so now there will be three. We missed both park city events because we had the car tore apart. but its back together for the moment so we will be at Harrisburg both weekend in August. See you there.

I believe its FP for the car, also since a SE30 build itsn’t outside the rules for and SCCA IT car you should also be able run the car in DSP…

There’s one other car that has sprung up in our group, he did some gutting so now he’s in with us too. Another E30. I haven’t run with him yet. I probably won’t do the states event at Harrisburg though.

So after review the SCCA rule book I should definitely be in E-prepared.

Thanks for the help
