NASA SE @ Roebling

Hi Guys!

First order of business - best of luck to everyone at the Nationals! It’s terrific to see Carter’s vision develop on this level.

I am considering the Sept 30 NASA SE event and would like some guidance. Are the HPDE definitions there the same as here? If I’m running HPDE3 in MA - is it the same for SE? Sorry for the simple mided question - but then again those of you who know me relize I am a simple minded guy… Thanks!

NASA HPDE levels should be consistent througout regions. HPDE 3 is a solo run group (http://www.nasa-southeast.com/hpde.html). That being said, I concur with Dameon and recommend the race group.

Thats what I like to hear. But you don’t want any of me at Roebling, I own that place. I hear they are thinking of changing Damion Road Raceway;)

Humility and Damion too.

Roebling Road Raceway update… Steve will you be there? Others? So far there will be Robert and Laura Patton, Cullen, Taylor, Moses, Childress in the race group. Smith in HPDE. Did I miss any one? The event is one of the first on the new pavement. Be there, Aloah, Robert Patton. P.S. the track has a RRR decal. RRR stands for…Oops, failed to mention the dates, 9/30-10/1.

With the repave I won’t have any reference marks to use. I’ll be lost…Damion what does RRR stand for?Regards, Robert Patton

Patton, Damion is correct, I am registered and plan to be there. The car has been painted since the Atlanta race and I hope it isn’t the kiss of death.

The Nationals are over…time to move on to the next event as you are only as good as your last finish. This leaves room for all of us Southeast racers to improve as the Mid Atlantic guys continue to show the fast way around the track. Perhaps we can get some of them to come down to Roebling. The event is only two weeks away. Others ?? Come see us Robert Patton

Only five more days… We’ve got Forrest as an instructor. Other racers? Damion, try some trash talk… Regards, Robert Patton

So what crazy obnoxious theme is Patton trying to talk you into doing for your car. Looking forward to seeing the new paint job. Hopefully none of the spec miatas will mistake you for someone to bump.

I can’t beleive you guys bushwacked me into racing this weekend instead of instructing. I don’t know if the best way to learn a track over a race weekend, but we’ll find out and see how quickly I can get up to speed.

we were going to try to make it down south for one last race this season but our rear main seal went out at mid-ohio. So we are going to probably going to just wait for VIR in february to hit the track again. Next season we are planning on going to road atlanta for sure though.

Kelly, it is exactly the same color, just no glazed clear coat anymore and the cage is painted so it won’t rust. What do you think?

Hello. I am new to the forum and have a question about this weekends event at Roebling Road. Is there also an HPDE event going on? Something that a non-race-licensed member can participate in?

check out http://www.nasa-southeast.com/schedule.html
You can find all the region’s events by clicking the Event Calendar link from the home page www.nasaproracing.com

Have fun!
