I don’t plan on keeping it. I ran out of time for the build before VIR. It’s #1 on the to do list.

On second thought, I shouldn’t let Dave take the car because now I’ll know just how slow I am when I go to RA later this year. At least I’ll have the exhaust done by then!

Looking forward to racing with you guys this weekend (and maybe some more weekends this year)!

Hey Dave, sell that fancy M3 of yours and you could build two E30’s? Looking forward to running with you this weekend, us new guys need to represent! See you there.

I predict car 155’s best finish of the year

I’ll be there to instruct, and bringing my street E30 to flog for a few laps…Never had it on track before, so if you’re feeling lucky, then I can give you a ride.

Carter, remember last year when you told me I needed to carry more speed into seven? Now I just need to find a balance…

So sorry to see/hear that Steve. That car was really something to be proud of.

Are you going to make it back this year?

JP

#72

Absolutely, I’ll be at CMP 5/5 with a little luck.

#73

Sorry about the incident. The damage looks pretty serious. I hope you were not injured. Good luck getting it back on track.

I spent the weekend straightening the front of my car and putting a new fender, hood, lower valance, bumper, etc… I was hoping to be able to pound out the rear damage but it looks like a will have to cut and weld in a portion of the rear quarter panel.

#74

oooooooffff that sucks - hope that you are OK Steve. Did you have "help" or just carried too much speed?

#75

All is well except my pride. No help getting off, it was all my bad. I carried too much speed getting into seven. Needed about six more inches of race track to save it. The LR slipped off and I was just along for the ride.
