NASA SE @ Road Atlanta SIGN_UP NOW

#1

The subject line says it all.

Unlike years past, NASA’s popularity is growing which means you may not be able to sign-up at the last minute for races. The HPDEs are closed and the racer list is at 69.

If you are going to be at RA, please sign-up NOW.

The current list of racers:
Foushee
Brewster
Geiger
Puras
Marshall
L. Patton
R. Patton

I would hate to see Spec e30 racers not be able to participate.

Regards, Robert Patton

3/07/07 the latest list:
add Mark Nichols
Carlton Goldwaite
Mike Skeen

Delete Jon Allen

As supplied by NASA SE

Jon, are you comming?
Any others?
Any for HPDE that were not noted (registration is closed for HPDE)

Thanks in advance, Robert Patton

2 rookies in Geiger and Brewster…

Looking forward to it.

#3

I’m in.

#4

Jeff and I will be there but I will be instructing and practicing only and Jeff will be working towards solo sign-off. I’d love to race but must wait until the next round.

#5

I’m planning on being there again this year. Looking forward to running the E30 down there. Always a fun event at an amazing track. Will sign up this week.

It was awesome racing with 27 spec cars this weekend at VIR. The competition was incredible. Hope the turn out is as good at RA. Let’s go!

Jon, congratulations on the Saturday win at VIR. But, as you know, those fast guys from MA region have to add 100 pounds to equalize the cross region talent factor. So come on down to and race, but bring extra weight .

The SE guys will provide the fuel siphon just prior to race time. Beware of defated or over inflated tires too.

Regards, Robert Patton

Thanks, ha ha! If that’s policy, I’ll do it. Guess it’s a good thing I didn’t remove the car alarm yet…and I suppose I’ll bring the armed guards with me too

Clarification on the 69 racers that was posted earlier…The 69 is total for both classes. The split is usually 50/50, meaning that there are about 35 in small bore. This leaves room for about 15 more. Are you signed up yet?

Regards, Robert Partton

#9

Where’s the rest of the ATL crew?

#10

Yeah! Lets go all ATL guys! This will only be my first event since Comp School at CMP so you’ll at least have me to beat on!:woohoo:

Looking forward to a great weekend on the home track.

Jeff

Okay, add Mike Skeen and Jon Allen.
Damion, have you signed up yet? Kelly Childress?Tarvis and Al?Anyone from MA Region?

Regards, Robert (I think I’ll drive the mommy car 'cause it has a junkyard motor in it) Patton

No, I haven’t signed up and I might not be. I’ll know more next week:(

#13

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to race at this event. The wife has me on a pretty thin racing budget this year so I’ll have to wait until August at RA to mix it up with you guys.

:frowning:

I’ll try to get up at least one day and visit/spectate/crew if I can.

Ditto. I damn near sold my soul to race at VIR. I won’t be back out till May at CMP. I am planning on RA in August as well, just need to buy a cool suit before that!

One of the best investments you’ll ever make.

It looks like all of the Atlanta area candidates have spoken. What do we gotta do to get some Mid Atlantic guys to come to Road Atlanta?

How about new and improved track surface? I’ll see if I can get Mr. Panoz to repave the track for YOU.That ought to do it.

Regards, Robert (gotta new car to race) Patton

Im planning on making the Summer RA race but I will miss this one unfortunately. I cant wait to get down there.

Patton, I’ve got $5 on a repave if you can negotiate it!
