I hate my life. I want to race again. :frowning: :frowning: :(
I remember when Alena used to accompany Bill at the track, smile sweetly at everyone at Gus’… I wonder what happened?

PS - Bill - You’re supposed to start racing AFTER you’re married. Then she’ll sign you up for weekends away…

PPS - Looks like we will be down to 21. Evan’s home A/C crapped out on him and put a dent in his racing budget. The honorable thing from a season points perspective would be for Palacio to sit out a weekend too. :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought the whole point of racing was to get away from the other half/hoey-do list for a weekend. lol

The hoey-do list sounds like more fun. She don’t like it when I call her “hoey” though. She thinks she’s klassy.

#65

Alena actually feels very bad that I haven’t been able to race…she actually enjoys being around you clowns at the track. I can’t even venture a guess as to why that is…

Either way, I should have the car ready for the next RA and Roebling…

#66

Add one more to the list, I’ll be there

#67

Sorry guys, DeVinney is correct, I’m not going to make it. Repair guys coming Friday and I have to be here. Even if I could get out of town early enough, this is doing real damage to my budget for the year. :frowning:

I will be at Charlotte in two weeks though, fo-sho. So much for the points run! Back to just having fun I guess.

I have the Bimmerworld/PFC contingency stickers being sent to DeVinney, please see him at the meeting if you need them. The Bimmerworld must be on the front fender, PFC must be at the front of the front fender, in front of the wheel opening.

Down one more - I won’t make it. Had my registration moved to August.

Going to miss Lowe’s also…

Can someone bring a 30 and 32mm socket to RA for Jon Stroup? He needs them to replace a rear hub. Need both because some hub nuts are different. I told him I’d bring mine but now I can’t find them.

#70

I’ll bring sockets and a Sir Tools B90 rear hub kit.

#71

Jim, thanks. I have a new hub and sockets. What is the hub kit?
I removed the axle lock nut (very tight!) but now cannot remove the hub from the axle and bearing. Probably need a puller, as suggested in the Bentleys.

Jim, What time are you arriving at RA?
Jon Stroup

My puller will show up around 9PM. Someone running the Friday enduro will have one tho. Look up Lako/Walsh.

If things go well I will get to the track at 5pm or perhaps earlier.

The B90 kit is a set of tools for pulling the rear hub, the bearing, and installing same.

#74

Don’t let me roll in at 9PM and find everyone gone home to their hotels. The beer drinking and childish behavior starts at 9 people.

Until, someone posts a Video location for the RA event, I thought I’d post my video of a lot of Spec E30 action from my Blue 944 GTS1 car number 19. I got caught up in the Spec E30 “Swarm” after the double yellow. I was trying to catch Don Sullenger in his GTS2 Porsche 944 Number 44 (running in GTSU), and finally passed him when a Spec E30 spun in Turn 1. Thanks for the help.

If you space forward to 9:58, that’s the restart.

I had a good view of this. I went right to avoid and watched the near collision in my mirror. Here’s a 30sec clip.
