Damn, I’m impressed. Almost makes me want to let 5 of you clowns pass me.

Geegers evil plan of making 6th place so appealing that the toyo positions are open appears to be working…

Good thing I don’t need any yard art.

I said "almost"…

Your tune may change shortly. …

The 6th place trophy just got sweeter:

Gran Turismo East
http://granturismoeast.com/
is giving away a $50 gift certificate along with the 6th place trophy.

This just got a whole lot more interesting…

(This applies to Saturday’s race of course.)

Sixth Place: Recognition and now reward.

I’m not going to be as bold as Skeen and say that I’d have to let people pass in order to get Sixth Place (gotch ya, Mike). We’ve got a darned good field of racers and a sixth place finish is now starting to look really good.

Put me in for racing for sixth.

Regards, Robert

#87

F*@%! Don’t make me change my marketing strategy and advertising campaign in favor of an 11th place trophy just so I can win something?! Although, it is one louder than 10. Hmmm…

#88

Sixth is nice and I have to admire the trophy crafstmanship, but I’m shooting for some toyo bucks this weekend

(The racing budget is a bit thin and I could use the tires)

Just putting in some good laps here at the end of our trash-talk enduro…

Craig,

I have to admire your creativity and craftsmanship but I got to know, how the hell do you find the time to do this stuff? If you were in Raleigh, I’d put you to work.

I’m blown away over this 9 page thread leading up to the RA race. We can’t even get 5% of the 22 racers in the MA to give race reports much less post a video. I’d post mine if I knew how.

Anyway, ya’ll have a great weekend and keep it safe and fun!

-Ken

What do you need to know? Got a MiniDV cam? Win XP computer? Just connect it and use Windows Movie Maker…capture the video (edit if you want) and upload to video.google.com or youtube. Ask me if you’ve got questions, would love to see some more videos.

Michael:

If I bring everything to Durham, will you help me convert my VHS-C tape of the Sunday VIR race, to the 'net?

Carter

#93

I’d certainly be willing to try. I’ve never taken anything off a VHS, but I would think we can do it. Shoot me an e-mail and we can figure it out.

Thank god, I am not the only one who noticed.

Craig, the least you could do is come bleed my brakes for me. I have a new roomy garage and everything…

Funny, I’ve seen him drive and like Jim said, he really should spend his "spare" time learning to drive, right Jim?

#96

Craig’s leisurely lifestyle will benefit me when I take his 6th place trophy, so I’m not going to ride him too hard on this.

If TJ can’t bleed his brakes between Roebling (May) and Road Atlanta (Aug)it may be time to spend the $30 and have it done at a shop. Almost 3 months for a 20 min job, even I’m not that poor of a mechanic!!

#97

Speaking of 30min jobs. . . . are you ever going to finish painting over that primer! :silly:

#98

Primer!?! that is the best metallic silver that Rustoleum makes!

I redid it since Rock so you can take a look in the paddock since on the track you’ll only be seeing the rear bumper… if you even get that close…hahaaa

#99

She is all ready now…actually looks like a race car…almost:

Bill, did you put your target on the back? I mean…rookie sticker.

Lookin’ good!
