If you mean the orange rookie plate, then yes, it is on there!

If you really want it to look like a race car, let Damion drive it. badabingbadaboom. :woohoo:

Hey guys, you can smack Bill’s car anywhere else you like, but be kind to the rookie plate. It’s on loan from the Factory 3 Archives and I expect it back in pristine condition.

You’ll get it back in pristine condition! The whole car is going to stay that way.

And thanks a lot for letting me borrow it!

Holy shit Bill, did you actually put tire shine on the tires. You better say no or you will never live it down:woohoo:

Damion, I’ve got tire shine on my tires. They slip through the air like butter. Try it, it might help you run at the front of the pack.

Yeah, what he said. Same reason I waxed it! Of course, Lea and I discovered last night that vinyl doesn’t stick well to waxed surfaces, so I had to do some unwaxing.

:frowning:

But it will be the best-looking last place car you folks have ever seen!

#111

Bill, I’ve started many a BMW CCR race (and a few NASA races) from last place. I expect that you’ll move up in the pack quite well. But , remember, sixth place is mine.

Regards, Robert

Bill, Ironically, RA was my first race last year. I’m sure you will do just fine, stay right behind me and I’ll show you the line.

I know of a really nice BeerTech car that would dispute that.

I seriously just hope to stay out of everyone’s way and enjoy myself on Saturday.

But on Sunday I am going for the win.

Bill,
I’ve found out over the last year that it is a lot of fun moving up through the pack. In fact, I’ve found it so fun that during a number of my races I decided to go four wheels off or spin out as a facade to let people by. That way I have the enjoyment of moving back through the pack and re-pass them.

Definitely a winning strategery.

Kelly, Since you’ve missed so many races, I’m curious, do you have to put the "R" back on your car?

#117

Kelly is only going to put the sticker back on if his wife lets him.

:woohoo:

Carter, I have to say considering we’ve only met once last year at RA and chatted a little online; you have a profound understanding of my relationship with Wendy. I would of expected a remark like that from Robert, Chuck, or Laura. Coming from you, I have to say I’m impressed.

On the bright side… she is still supportive of my life threatening money pit hobby.

Bill… You better watch out, at least I don’t have to worry about Wendy kicking my ass out on track

I don’t have to worry about Wendy kicking my ass out on the track, either.
