NASA NATS: Who Will Win?

#1

Let your regional bias show: who’s going to be on top of the podium when the week is over?

Entry list: http://team-nasa.com/entrylistreport.php

I pick Charlie Hayes driving a TFB Performance car from Northern California. He’s double dipping in SM so he’ll have plenty of seat time.

I’m Seeing a dark horse canidate here. Podium will fill with Ma and SE drivers for sure though.

I did see some impressive driving from Charlie Hays in the California Crown video, but can he run with the established Right Coast guys? I’m sure it’ll be a good battle.

That McKay guy from Florida has plenty of experience winning NASA National Championships.

Being in the SE, I’ve gotta pull for the Palacio kid and I think he has as good a chance as anyone.

On the other hand, it’s hard to bet against R. Grace. After watching him from the stands 2 years ago in Utah and seeing him fly past me in the rain last year I’m sure he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Whoever ends up in the front I’m sure it’ll be a great race to watch. Wish I was there.

Charlie Hays gets my vote…Robert Grace 2nd.
See you at Miller next year.

#5

Can someone explain how the podium works? Is it whoever has the most wins out of the four races?

#6

Thursday qualifying sets the starting place for the Thursday Qualifying Race.
Friday qualifying sets the starting place for the Friday Qualifying Race.

A combination of finishing positions in the Thursday Qualifying Race and Friday Qualifying Race sets the starting position for the Sunday National Championship Race.

Top 3 finishers in the Sunday National Championship Race are on the podium.

#7

I think you are going to see a repeat of the podium from last year, just the order will be mixed up a bit. B)

#8

any Palacio. Go Southeast.

#9

Big, talented field.

#1 Eric Palacio
#6 or 7 Julio Palacio and/or Brandon Pantas

Good luck guys.

No Mike Skeen this year?

Hayes is fast…and has a very strong car

#11

My vote is for E. Palacio. He seems to have only gotten faster since his podium last year.

#12

It will be a great Lakes driver representing from the home track! Good luck everyone

#13

my moneys on magagnoli!

#14
my moneys on magagnoli!
You only like him 'cuz we can’t spell his f*cking name either.

Palacio FTW. The Great Lakes guys always show strong early in the week, but that advantage fades as the big show approaches and the long-tow guys get their groove back.

Fri Qual Race is up on MyLaps

Looks like it’ll be Lucas and Magagnoli on the 1st row to start the big one on Sunday.

#16

LOL. There’s that. But he’s also a personal friend of mine. He maybe GL now but he’s from the NE originally

#17

Nice!

#18

I’m just hoping Bullard goes the distance so he can race at ACC the next weekend.

#19

If Anthony ends up going I have to go to maintain the points lead up here. Based on the week so far I’m feeling a Great Lakes podium at Nationals. We’ve all been setting personal best laps.

Where do we find the qualifying results?
