I just rented one of the DriveGear BMW’s and will be coming. Just ordered my tires. Working on getting a set of wheels now, as the D-Force wheels I have are recall wheels. Looking forward to the fun. Will be running the BMW as well as my Factory Five Challenge Racer in the FFR class.

If anyone has an extra set of wheels they could part with I would be likely to buy them. I finally got a set of rain tires.

Andrew, make sure my car is stickered up with all those stickers, so that when I win, I can attempt to recoup some of the rental money. Thanks.

Also, I will need a spare set of rims. D-Force is not responding to my multiple e-mails and calls regarding my defective wheels, and I don’t have anything to mount up my new rubber on. Let me know if anybody has any loaners, or, Andrew, if you have a spare set.

What email are you using to contact D-Force? Tom at dforcewheels dot com is the owner and was great to work with during the recall. I had a set recalled as well, and he answered allmy emails that day. He paid for all the shipping as well.

Spares: Fuel filter, oil filter, diff rebuild plates, diff axle seals. Plus back at the shop (1 hour from MidOhio) we’ve got axles, trailing arms, fenders, doors, roof! and some other misc stuff.

Parking

Guys, I was up there today and reserved some grass parking for us. Same spot us locals were at for the last race. Would be great to have all the SpecE30 guys in the same vicinity (for those that aren’t paying for pavement parking).

I reserved as much as I could with the cones I had from Osborne. I ran yellow caution tape between the cones so people get the idea; tape is on the ground so you can drive over it.

Ok, so I ordered this fuel sample kit…has not shown up yet. I will hold off until tomrrow night then I’m leaving.

Go to NAPA and get a 5/16" “T”, 4 feet of high pressure fuel line, a male barb/thread and a cap and 4 hose clamps. Install. Time: 30 minutes. cost: 10ish bucks. CB

Incident happened on the first lap at the top of the keyhole, which ended up bringing out the double yellows and we only got 3 laps of actual racing.

Also, the pink panther car was involved in an incident in GTS. Not sure who was driving, but the man is a hero from my understanding. He pulled another driver from a burning car and saved his life. This was telephone 4’th hand information, but it hasn’t changed yet. Pantas car is totalled.

I believe 3-4 cars have been totalled thusfar. 2 for sure, 2 might be able to be rebuilt here.

Top 4 SE30 guys had diff breakaway checked and are at the dyno now (LONG LINE).

All 4 dynos were between 150 & 156, I think Scott will share. Mine was 153hp & 149tq. We lost quite a few cars in the qualifying race, I think the Cali boys were hit especially hard.
