NASA license good enough to do SCCA race?

This guy says that all we have to do is show up with our NASA license and we can race with SCCA. I didn’t think that it was that easy. How say you?

Yup. You’ll have to get a temp membership for the weekend ($15 IRRC). I might be doing it this weekend for IT Fest at MidOhio since my SCCA renewal is not here yet.

Edit: if you don’t have a SCCA logbook & tech inspection, you’ll probably need that too

What class would Spec E30 be in SCCA?

If you have a legal Spec E30, you should pass SCCA inspection with flying colors. You will be at a performance disadvantage because of the rules, but depending on who shows, you could still run top 5. Chuck
