My Toolbox

#1

One of the very few things of my father’s that I have is his old Craftsman toolbox. It’s >40yrs old and has rusted away unused in our damp garage. Instead of appreciating it, I let it rot away because I’m an undisciplined slug.

A couple days ago I decided it was time to set things to right. I took it all apart and then spent hours sanding down the rust. Last night I painted it and reassembled it.

Dad would wonder if I’d lost my mind.

Happy Father’s day.

Another.

Looks awesome. I’m too young to have even ever seen a Craftsman logo like that, haha. I do love all my Craftsman tools and toolboxes.

Nice job. Anyone can buy a toolbox. You have something that is special to you.

Nicely done Scott. Any father would be proud.

Finally a project we can all agree was a worthy use of your time and talents!

That is very cool. I have some of my grandfather’s tools and it brings back good memories each time I use them - or just see them in the basement.
