My girlfriend bought a donor car last night...

She has finally taken the plunge to start building a SpecE30 car. She has been tracking her E36 M3 for years, but now she has this:

I think she was sick of watching my e30 progress so quickly!!

For those of you who have met Lea, I think you’ll agree that she will be a fun addition to the SpecE30 crowd.

Great news! She is a blast and so much better looking then you, Bill and from what she says, a better driver too!

I wish you had 2 good sport seats in that car, I’d trade a fixed back race seat. I got one of our Daily drivers from Tom afew weeks ago and I am enjoying driving it some.

See you in a few weeks at CMP. Is Lea coming too?

Looks like a nice car.

I have noticed quite a few 4 door cars out there. Is there any advantage (other than typically lower acquisition cost and easier access to the back seat area) to a four door? Stiffer than the coupe? Longer wheel base?

Good luck getting it ready.

You are hilarious! I must admit that she is much better looking than me…but not a better driver.

Lea will be at CMP with me. She is trying to get this car track ready in time for RA next week and CMP the week after.

You can put wheel/tires back there.

Bill, Lea, congratulations! Let us (Laura or me) know if there is any way we can help you out.

4 door is the exact same wheelbase as the 2dr. I really like mine for the rear access, particularly this week as I paint the interior. B) There’s been debate about one being stiffer than the other but I doubt it makes any difference once the cage is installed.
