I plan on coming up at some point and hanging out.
Good news is our E30 comes back from the body shop tomorrow. Just have to fix the tranny now and swap the fuel pressure regulator.

And put the factory airbox back in…replace driver’s side tail light, drivers side headlight bucket, front gilles, check the alignment, change the oil, re-decal the drivers side… I’m sure there’s more.
Hopefully you can get all that done by Putnam :). My car is ready changed all the fluids and fuel pressure regulator this past weekend. Weather looks decent if a bit chilly.

[quote]I know this is last minute, I almost forgot to address griding for the second race on Saturday.
In order to make things as fair as possible and because both races Saturday will count for points for many people, qualifying times from Saturday’s qualifying session will be used to set the grid for both races. Finish order from Race 1 has no impact on start order for Race 2.

Simon, don’t be shy with thee race updates.
Yes, Taylor and I wimped-out on the long haul to race with you guys, and opted for the CCA weekend at VIR. We both need more laps at VIR to keep the SE guys respectable when we invade the MA turf in July (with a big group of other SE racers) for their race.
Can you make it outside your region this year? NASA at RA in August? CCA at RA for Octoberfest? VIR with the MA guys?
Have fun!

I wanted to do Road Atlanta with you guys this year, but with Nationals in Utah I can’t afford it (in vacation days or cash). So I’m just staying local this year and am going to try and make Nationals.
camping question, I saw this on the NASA website:
Camping:
Campground is closed for NASA events. RV’s will be charged a $20 use fee by Mid-Ohio upon entering the facility. (Anything that looks like a camper or RV will be charged)
Does that mean specifically that the camping area only is closed, but we are still allowed to camp in the grassy area outside the paddock? Or does this mean you can’t camp there at all? I just don’t want to show up and be denied a spot to camp and have to find a place to sleep!

I’m pretty sure it means just the camping area is closed, I think you’ll still be able to pitch a tent but I’m not 100% positive. I assume you want me to bring your tires?
just got word from Dave Royce that camping is allowed. We are good to go. See you guys there.
Simon, if you could bring the tires that would be great. Thanks, Kevin
I am sad to say I will not be there this weekend. My mother-in-law has been taken from the nursing home to the hospital and now hospice. We don’t expect her to be around much longer. My wife is with her 24/7 right now and even though I have the green light to go but I am sure there is some bad karma coming if I do. Sorry but plan to make the next one
