What happened to all the Spec e30 drivers running PTD???

#2

There will be more signing up later. Besides you really want more of us to beat you ? :stuck_out_tongue: . Looking forward to racing with you for the first time! What is your HP and weight? Do we stand a chance?

#3

Both cars run SCCA ITS and can be class competitive.

#4

Translation: More HP and less weight than a SpecE30. :woohoo:

#5

And a Spec E30 has a chance at an ITS podium if two true ITS cars show up.

#6

The way I read the rules we are supposed to be in PTE.

#7

It depends on how many suspension bushings you have replaced. A fully prepped SpecE30 will fall into PTD, but a dyno reclass can get you back into PTE.

#8

Same weight (target weight–GCR–2680) but can’t get there with my fat ass. Usually run 2700+ lbs. Slightly more HP, but a dearth of torque:sick:

#9

Is Lako really running in 944Spec? I think you have to disconnect 2 spark plug wires if you want to run with those guys.

#10

I’m beginning to think the Spec e30 guys are 'fraid:sick:

#11

I think Lako clicked the wrong box and believe he intends to run SE30…

#12

don’t worry ill be there to have some fun with you in the ptd or what ever class the rest of e30 gang enters…

#13

Map on NasaSE website shows ProPits empty. Does this mean we have to pit on other side?

#14

Holy Jesus that will be a disaster. It was awful last time that happened. No idea how I’m going to get the rig in there.

#15

On the NASASE site pro pits are shown as used.

#17

Scott G can you double-check with JimP about whether pro paddock is in use or not?

#18

I emailed Julie for a definitive answer…will post when I get a reply. BTW, I would gladly pay $10 extra to pit in the pro pits.

The issue of the Propits has been getting discussed for a couple weeks now. The current truth is that we’re not getting the Propits, but that the headcount might be low enough that it sort of works.

Background. RA significantly raised the cost of renting the Propits. Jim worked thru various ideas as to how he could get us the Propits, but no one could come up with an idea that seemed like a winner. One of the ideas was to rent out slots in the Propits for $100 ea. like we did for East Coast Champs.

I tried to get us the paddock up on the hill, the same place we were for East Coast Champs, but that didn’t fly either. That space goes with the Propits.

AFAIK, if last minute registrations are high, we could still get the Propits. But if it doesn’t work out that way, arrive a little early and bring a generator.

I don’t think I’m going to make RA. #1 wife will be on the other side of the planet and the kids have a soccer tournament. If I told the kids they were missing their tourney and instead going to RA with me, there’d be divorce papers nailed to the front door upon my return. Wife being a lawyer and all, the divorce would work out poorly for me.

I know RA has updated the power in the pro pits over the last year or so. Not so much in the paddock. Scott, what is the actual cost of the PP…last year it was 1K?
