Looking to Rent/donate tire $$/beg/plead...etc.etc

Hey All,

I know this a bit late in the year to ask this but I’m looking to rent a Spec E30 for licencing school and a couple of races before the end of the year.

If the legal implications of the word "Rent" scares you away, lets say - I can donate to the tire fund??? Whatever helps you sleep at night…

Someone in the SE would be preferable but if you’re located elsewhere, but are willing/planning on attending races in the SE and are willing to share/rent/take my money - drop me a line…

Disclaimer - Been around racing for quite a looong time now and instruct for DE’s regularly - just don’t have the wheel-to-wheel racing experience.

Not looking to go out and "beat the pants" off others, just want to get the experience under my belt and have a good time.

FWIW - I’ve never put a car in a wall, never had contact and am pretty easy on the equipment.

Good idea, but I didn’t need a race car for licensing.
I went to a comp license school with my street/track car, like all the other students, and then I applied for the rookie license.
What licensing school are you going to?
BTW, I’m on the west coast, otherwise I’d loan you my car.

in the RM region, NASA comp school involves practice races and then participation in a real race the next day, so a full race car and safety gear is required.

I thought the Driving Concepts school have classes all over the country in association with NASA. That’s how I got my rookie license.
Check their website, there might be a class nearby.
