I plan on running NASA and BMWCCA events this year. Do I need to request separate logbooks from both sanctioning bodies?
Likewise, do I need separate tech inspections for NASA and BMWCCA?

It depends on what BMWCCA class you’re going to run. They have a new Sport class that is pretty similar to SpecE30. If you did that, you’d need a BMWCCA logbook. Last year tho, we did BMWCCA races as a “foreign class”. If you do that, you only need your NASA log book.
The SpecE30 guys in your area just need to come to a common agreement as to what class ya’ll are going to run. That way you don’t end up diluting your numbers by putting a handfull in each class.
Caveat. Different regions sometimes do things their own way so it’d be worth contacting the BMWCCA CR Cheif Tech guy.
I did this last year. you only need one annual tech inspection. ask the inspection facility to fill both BMW CCA and NASA forms. BMW CCA will issue you a separate logbook usually. It’s not an issue. You can get one at tech provided you bring your annual tech forms.
edit: btw, are you planning to be at the BMW CR Memorial Day race weekend at MOH?
