Awesome- thanks !. I just listen to Sat race and it sounded like fun. Who was the SpecE30 driver that ‘didn’t see’ (according to the commentators) Porsche (?) coming behind them and ‘slammed the door’ coming out of the corner ?

I wonder what happened to Steve Kapuschansky today in practice:
Stephen Kapuschansky Best: 9:14.747 Laps: 1
#24

I think I heard that it was Chris Cobetto - it sounded like Hewitt in the Porsche GT3 Cup car tried to pass all of the spec e30 cars in one shot …

I was working on my car in the garage while listening - distant second best to being there

finishing order for today

cobetto
carlton
me
patton
carter
harrington
taylor
kapuchansky

i qualified six and well…I had a really good start. I will post the video. The top three all made weight so we will see what happens tomorrow. I’m excited and I had an absolute blast running with patton. Traffic created the gap between me and carlton. Oh well.

Go mike!!!

Unofficial Results:

Cobetto
Patton
Hunt
Mike D.
Al Taylor
Steve Kapuschansky

DNF: Carlton

It was a great race to listen to. It stole the show with a serious battle back from 5th from Cobetto.

The race was pretty exciting to listen to until Carter spun in the 12th lap. The announcers pretty much followed Chris and Carter exclusively up until that point. Does anyone know what happened to Carlton? Hope its nothing serious
Anyway, great race guys. Good job representing SE30 at the Nationals.

well I started 3rd today and got up to second place behind patton as patton missed a shift on the back straight I was right on his bumper through madness. Then I made a pretty big mistake trying to avoid him as I made a move up the hill. I basically did a u turn and came back into the middle of the track and saw chris, steve, and carlton heading straight towards me. I thought there was going to be a very bad accident but they did an awsome job avoiding me thank god! It was all my fault but I battled back and made up about 10 seconds and got by steve and al. I’m happy with 4th for my first time attending mid-ohio. The race was very interesting aside from just my incident. I will post the video tomorrow!

Well as I just missed going head first into Mike, I had to dive right and off track down the grass/hill and came back on track in 4th, 5 seconds later my car just died…shut off. I turned it over it would start run for 10 seconds and just die. I pulled into pits and my day was done before 1 lap. Any ideas on what is wrong the the car?

sorry to hear about your misfortune Carlton - sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me. Perhaps some lines got pinched?
cheers,
bruce

That Stinks Carlton after all that hard work to get it going again…Like mentioned above, look for the fuel lines along the rail to be squashed or kinked

If it turns out to not be a fuel delivery issue… you may also want to look at the wiring on you kill switch. It may sound crazy but JP had similar issues a while back and a bad connection to the switch was the cause.
