Have any of you SpecE30 mid-atlantic guys had your car as far north as LRP? I was there yesterday with my near-SpecE30 car and I was hoping to get a reference for laptimes. I chased a 'CCA J-Stock E30 M3 all day long, and we were turning high 1:04s, but that’s only a partial reference.
TIA,

Lime Rock Park
Matt:
Lime Rock is a loooong drive for us Southerners but it’s definitely on my list to visit before I hang up my racing gloves.
We might see you next year…
Carlton has family up that way so maybe he’ll go along too.

Thanks for the reply. I know how far it is, esp. being from Alabama (originally) myself. But I do hope you’ll keep it on your list. It’s a 1.53-mile roller coaster.
Having said that, my group does venture to VIR and Summit at least once or twice a year, so perhaps I’ll run into the Spec E30s down there.
I was able to get some LRP references by looking up the fastest BMWCCA CR times for K-Prepared E30s… so that answered my original question. Thanks again.

I run at Lime Rock quite often with my Spec E30/KP Car.
I also run in the mid-1:04s, although I think I ran mid 1:05s in last year’s BMW club race (100+ degree heat) which still put me in top-ten highest KP lap times for Lime Rock.
A fully-prepped KP car can lap in the 1:03s
A well-driven E30 M3 J-stock can lap in the 1:02s
Lime Rock is fun because you can beat up on the higher horsepower cars.
