I ran 143.x’s with the e motor on toyos, and this last weekend with the “i” motor on Yoko Advan A032R “H” in 195 I was running similar to AJ who supposedly was running 152.x’s…
I’m hoping other 143.x was supposed to be 153.x, otherwise

I was pulling 1:56-1:57 in my video, looks like I have a ways to go :)
Just to be in the clear here, like I told Steve I got times for only a couple of sessions and my FASTEST lap of the weekend was a 152 vs. “supposedly running 152s”. Most of my laps were in between 1:56-2:02 for the 2 sessions I have data on (one on Sat, one on Sun). Brenden you were running faster times than me all weekend and clearly are a faster driver and could easily be in the low 150s or better based on my GPS. Actually I’m surprised that Steve’s out talking about my times because mine will likely not matter too much for some time to come.

BTW found your socket wrench in the truck and will bring it to Sears.

Hey, it was nice meeting you guys from up north. I really like Laguna Seca and it was worth the 5 hour drive!

Same here Mike (and Callahan), look forward to seeing you guys around the paddock.

Thanks…See you there…

AJ,
Stop worrying. You did exceptionaly well at Laguna. I worry more about your ability to provide a competitive chess match in regards to the race than your lap times. I will say it over and over…Lap times dont mean sh&* when it comes to racing. Nor does your line and how well you heel toe. Driving must come second nature and not getting in trouble becomes the focus. There has been some revelations in my speekings lately and you all will witness my frustrations at the drivers meeting on saturday. We have a lot of rookies and I dont intend on being part of the reason that keeps group A from letting Spece30 have its own run group. We are there and lets decide now how and when we get it. I will see you all at the drivers meeting.

Damn, now I have to learn to play chess too?

Seriously, I am not worried at all. I’m in this to build a fun car and have a good time with friends. Personally I don’t think I did exceptionally well at Laguna but hey but I had a great time. It’s all good man. See you on Saturday.

BTW, Thanks for looking out for the series here Steve - contingencies, paddock coning, driving advice and now going to bat for run group. Pretty damn good.
