Laguna Seca

#1

OK boys and Girls,
Who is in for Laguna Seca in January?
I know it is only HPDE but if we all go it would make a big mark on the other groups.
Lets talk about where when and how many.

#2

I’ll be there.

Let’s try and stay at the same fleabag motel and have a good time in Monterey!

#3

I will be there for sure. Hopefully I can get licensed then. It would be really sad if I wasn’t since it is ten or so minutes from my house…I may be able to hook up a place to stay…

#4

Guess I’ll show up. As long as there isn’t a race somewhere else that weekend…

#5

Guess?
Are you toooooo good for US?
What about the comradery? What about the paint scrapin? What about lapping the others?
Maybe we can bring the other halves and then allow them to go into town and buy us something nice.
I suggest staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Best in town.

#6

Sounds good to me. My wife would enjoy a day or two in Monterey, hit the spa or whatever girls do when they’re done buying nice stuff for us.

Come on Kev, you have to come - think of it as a warm up race.

#7

Ok, I’ll be there for sure. Doesn’t look like anything else is happening that weekend. I’ve never driven there before, but I’ve always wanted to. Should be a blast! Now remember Steve, it’s just an HPDE. You won’t get a sticker if you win and they won’t bump you up to HPDE 5 if you are doing well.

LOL!!:silly:

Steve, the good news is you do still get the opportunity to break stuff just like a real qualifying or race.

Hahaha…:woohoo:

I plan to be there. I went last year in my Corvette and it’s a great track.

Can’t wait to see how the SE30 works there.

#11

Is that five e30s I count? I like the sound of that…:cheer:

#12

Just wanted to reply to this to let people know they have opened up the registration for this event on the 19th and 20th…I have signed up both days and will hopefully be getting licensed. Just figured out I need to put more stinking bars in my cage…No way I will make weight now…:frowning: . Hopefully the car is done and ready so I can be licensed…

#13

You lucky dogs…still building my car and I hoping it will be done for Infineon in February…

HPDE 5…I’m still laughing…good one Kevin!

Cheers,
Scott Neville

#14

Hi Brenden, you don’t need to make weight at the HPDE or for licensing. Just get er in good running order and let’s go driving.

I am signed up both days too, look forward to seeing everyone. I’m thinking of staying at the Motel 6 on Hwy 1 - price is right and good prox to the track and Dennys.

#15

I’ll try to make it down, possibly for the HPDE on Sat, but at the very least to meet the norcal spece30 crew.

#16

Hey guys, turns out I’ll be in Asia until that Friday nite. Not sure I could make it to HPDE on Saturday morning, and still be awake, so I’ll probably come down to the hotel on Saturday afternoon.

I signed up to instruct on Sunday only. That will still give me a chance to say hi to everyone and see how you run.

#17

I’m planning on heading down on Saturday to say hi to the spec e30 crew. I’ll bring a helmet in case someone wants extra ballast
