Introduction

#1

Hello,

My name is Robert and I felt it would be appropriate to introduce myself to the SpecE30 community.

I have been working with E30’s for about 4 yrs now and have to say it has become a passion that I cannot deny.

I want to become involved with the SpecE30 community. While I am not ready to participate directly in the series for lack of finances and track experience.

However I can become involved in the fact that I have opened my own full time hobby shop specializing in the E30 chassis. I have been working on E30’s for about 4 yrs now.

20yrs general automotive experience give me an advantage others may not have. I know when a repair is done correctly. When a tricky problem comes up, past experience helps me find solutions others may not. I pride myself in a virtual zero comeback rating. This is extremely important to any racecar. Last thing you need is a failed repair at the track.

While I maybe new here, I am not new to the BMW community. I am a long time member of several other BMW boards.

I would like to offer my services to all of you. I just wanted to make a proper introduction first.

Also where would it be appropriate on this forum to post advertisements for my work?

Thank You,
Robert Calhoun

California…too bad. :frowning:
If you want to help via email, I’ve got a frustrating problem I need to solve with a transmission seal. I’ve not gotten a satisfactory answer from anyone so far. Email me at mxbreed2 at comcast dot net if you’d like to give it a shot.

Sent you an email.

I don’t mind helping out, whether in person or via email. Where all part of the same community. I even got a email from France the other day asking for advice.
