I sent this out in an email but I’ll repeat it here too:
There are a few interesting twists to this last event that affects SpecE30 racers. First off, we have assigned new paddock space for this event. It’s in a different spot than we’ve been parking in which has been behind the big grandstands. Our new spot is on the south end of the paddock, behind Tech. Here’s a link to the map prepared by NASA:

Second, if you’ve looked at the schedule, SpecE30 has been combined with Spec Miata and we’re now in Group E. We’ll be doing our usual standing start by ourselves, the Miatas will be following the pace car and will be doing a flying start behind us. We should be able to run our own race for the most part by ourselves…no more Super Unlimited cars to deal with or dive-bombing Hondas link to schedule:

Lastly, we are going to have three races this weekend, a non-points race on Saturday and our final two points races on Sunday. I think the way it works is the Saturday non-points race grid and the first Sunday points race grid will both be based on Saturday qualifying session. Sunday’s race grid will be based on Sunday’s qual. That’s how I read the schedule…I’m sure the details will be explained at the driver’s meeting.
The 15-day weather forecast is looking promising too:
