I found my Spec Candidate

1987 325is

Currently over-prepped for the SpecE30 series, but I’ve got plenty of time to get it ready. I don’t plan to get my comp. license until the end of the season, and race in 2007. I still want to raise my skill level before subjecting the rest of you to it! :stuck_out_tongue: But, at least I have the car now.

GC coilovers
Rebuilt head with Ireland 272 cam, M30 AFM, and larger injectors (anyone knows anyone interested in a good deal let me know)
All bushings replaced
Kirk Bolt-in Cage (converting to roll bar until a weld-in cage goes in next year)
Kill switches and Fire supression already in.
Two sets of weaves with new tires

Things to go in during the coming weeks:

Cobra seats
G-Force 6-point FIA harnesses
Hans Device
Rework Kill switch and Fire system
Fix all of the 100’s of little problems and blemishes around the car.

I’m really excited about being back in an E30. I’ll have to get used to not having the horsepower to cover up my poor driving. . . .

Good looking car.

I especially like the bumpers.

Hopefully you guys will see the emergence of Beer Tech Racing in 2007. I am on the same plan as 155 and our cars match, so I guess we have to?

My car needa a little de-tuning as well before its ready for the season but as a driver I need a lot of work, so it works out well.

The 87 Black on Black iS was my first E30 and still my favorite. I may be able to help you out detuning that thing. I have some parts, maybe we can work a trade.
