Ah yes, the south… any confederate flags show up on hoods yet??
Wait. I’m in CA. I’ll get started tie-dying my car!

Do I get any points for Alabama state flags on the mirrors?

I’m not open to selling/trading the car, but if you want to buy something, let me know. Why would you want to trade? Right now, you’re the only competition. :P[/quote]
It would be a shame to undo all that work. That is a nice looking car.

Rob,
I think if you do a 50’s motif you HAVE to have some primer on it, otherwise I’d say that would go against the originality of the idea. ; ) Do it, do it.

Not that I’m trying to get into a CCA rules thread but to let you know, the adjustable FPR is not legal in prepared class. If you were running under ITS rules you’d be fine but the honed intake, wing, and 15" wheels are not legal in ITS AFAIK. And you can’t mix rules. Just an FYI.

Oh crap. You’re right. Only injectors are allowed in BMWCCA Prep. So anyone with a maxed out SpecE30 would be running in D-Mod because of the AFPR! Anyway, the AFPR is coming out since it doesn’t do anything for stock injectors and stock chip.
And I’m not running SCCA. License fees for two leagues are enough for me.
Dangit, wish I hadn’t bought an AFPR from Bavarian. I could just buy yours.
(Yes, I’m stil struggling with the pinging.)
Yo Rob. I love the 50’s flat/semigloss black with flames idea. Just do it! However, my vote for the most original paint scheme goes to Ric Bergstrom and the family-helped-me paint job.Stay tuned as there will be some interesting theme cars in NASA SE next year. PS, tell James he needs to get on board with the Bimmerworld wind-up idea. Have fun, Robert Patton
