How best to post in-car video?

I’ve been fighting with a couple of video hosting sites trying to get my in-car video on the internet so you all can see how NOT to do a standing start - but cannot seem to get any sites to cooperate. Skeen and Kelly, you both have nice videos and a simple link on this board. How do I do it?

It sounds like you already have the clip made which is the hard part. Now you can just upload the video to google. I would download their uploader tool as that shows the progress of the upload, otherwise you won’t know how much is uploaded and it takes a while even with a good connection.

Once uploaded you will have to wait for them to approve the video, when ready click to your video and copy the link to your message here. You can use the board codes on this message board to turn it into a direct url link, the same way you would imbed an image in your message. Hope that helps.

It’s also really easy to upload videos onto YouTube. Just create an account and follow the directions.

Good point, I have uploaded videos there as well, but just remember they have to be 10 mins or less in length, google does not have that restriction.

I’ve tried both Youtube and Google video, and neither worked - over the time limit on both it seemed. I am curious how Skeen does it because it seems he gets the whole race on there.

Did you try uploading through your browser? You have to use the Google Video Uploader program for any lengthy (or sizable) videos.
