Gotten a few e-mails asking for updates on Daniel Herrington and the Indy Lights season. For those that are interested you can log onto twitter.com/bha for realtime updates/photos. Today was a little crazy Poured rain during practice and qualifying was a split field session with the qualifying order in each half of the field occupying each half of the grid. Daniel was P6 with traffic in his half of the field but will be starting P11 despite the fact that he was faster than all but one person in the second group. Qualifying for the second race will be in the morning. Hoping for a better result.
Herrington/Herta updates
Daniel Herrington, driving the No. 28 LeBleu/Bryan Herta Autosport car, overtook Wade Cunningham and James Davison following a Lap 41 restart and held off Davison by 0.0613 of a second in the Chicagoland 100 at Chicagoland Speedway.
This is Daniel’s first win in the Firestone Indy Lights series and Bryan Herta Autosport’s first win as a team. Daniel moves to 6th place in the championship -138 points behind the leader and now winner of the 2009 Firestone Indy Lights Series J. R. Hildebrand.

Daniel, congratulations on your first win in Indy Lights!
And I remember a day at RRR in winter 2003(?) at the Harrington’s first DE with their newly purchased/Billy Revis/KP/Spec e30 car.The Pattons were there with a new Spec e30 car also.
And we thought a 1:31 lap time was fast…
Congratulations Daniel!
Congratulations Dad!
