Just saw this in the NASA CCRs.
15.17.8 Head and Neck Restraint
Use of a head and neck restraint system or device, carrying an SFI 38.1 certification, is mandatory for all drivers as of June 2, 2008. References and information can be found in “Appendix D,” section #29.0 of the CCR.
Does everyone know this? I don’t recall any discussion here recently on this.

Tom, The price of these have come down alot this year. Both Hans and Safety Solutions(R3) now have sub-$700 units.
The other point is that exhaust is a performance perference and HNR are a safety issue. Big diff in my book! Heck, you should be wearing one already without the rules making you!
