Thanks all for the incedent-free weekend.Yes,there was some bumpitude (made that word up, really fitting). But, I don’t think anything out of the ordinary/damage to report. Correct me if I am wrong.

So, this and the Robeling event, make it 5 races in a row with start to finish green flag racing. looks like the Blitz thing is working as a run group. Yet , with some of the super fast blitz cars, we could/should talk to them about using their straightaway talent on the straightaway and not dive bombing the corner…Another topic for a different day.

Jason, where is the rest of Saturday’s race? I want to watch you reel me in and pass.

i thought the same thing, several times they passed in the middle of turns when it simply wasn’t necessary given their straightaway talent and lack of immediate competition. still, it beats the hell out of thunder roadsters spinning and crashing all over the place.

I wish I could have been closer to you and Eric. I heard you had two epic battles!!

Darn, brake lights going thru the kink didn’t effect you.Nice attempt at trickery.

you have to wake up pretty early in the morning to fool me. nine thirty, quarter to ten is usually sufficient.

Race set up at CMP? Is there such? My car was so tight that it was loose. Or was it so loose that it was tight.? RP

Until you start buying tires 4 at a time, I wouldn’t worry about changing from your baseline setup. :stuck_out_tongue:

We ran the Mid-O setups in both cars, totally forgot about it. Realized it on our drive out Fri evening and we said the heck with it. Very loose indeed! I’m using this as my excuse for being ultra-slow, it didn’t seem to bother Eric.

I look forward to the videos, especially Jason’s from Sunday. I briefly watched Eric’s in-car last night in his battle with Evan and it is epic.

I buy 4 at a time, two for me, two for Laura.
The “never has new tires” is a great excuse for our collective mediocrity (made that word up?). Mediocre… now there’s a word from the past.

Where are the MA guys when you need them to chime in?

Repeat on Sunday.

Congratulations to these podium finishers.

I had a fun weekend… Didn’t perform as well as I would have liked. Saturday’s race was pretty tame following Laura for the bulk of the race. Unfortunately I was late to the grid for IFU so no video :frowning:

I missed qualifying on Sunday chasing a mechanical issue with the power steering / Harmonic Balancer. Starting from the back, I had a good race for the first half and ended up settling into a gap nursing the car to the finish after a moan developed in the drivers side front corner. The video is highlights of Sunday’s race minus the driving around by myself:

Nice driving Kelly. Looked pretty daggum loose to me. It seems that you like it that way.

Hey Lako

Some things seem missing from your video…hopefully when your GTS buddy causes a big wreck you are not involved…
