Who will be the first in Spec E30 to do this?
From our brothers in Pro 3 in the Pacific Northwest. Similar to Spec E30 but with more mods.

Nice, would have been nice if the rearview was flipped so cars would be passing on the same side as the main screen.
Holy lack of run off room!!! That is a very interesting track.
There was a spec Miata with a dual camera setup at Roebling this weekend. I thought it was a little over the top.
I’m thinking about doing this at Rockingham. But I will like JP said flip it so it looks right.
VIR Backwards.

Damn.
What else besides the recorder and 2 lipstick cameras you need?
I’d love to have a little camera in the front/rear suspension, and pedals.
I just use a seperate mirror for the camera, on my m3 I mounted it on the roll bar above the wink. I’m hoping it will work the same on the 325.

I just made a sweet camera mount at work today so look for a dual camera view on my next video.

Pacific Raceway is a really fun track, it is 10 minutes from our old house in Kent, WA. I got to drive it a bunch with the BMW club, Alfa club once, and with Proformance Racing school. The chicane at the back is really wicked, if you go off track right you drop into a rivene (sp?) thats full of gravel mixed into the grass, very bad, and the left side of the track is an embankment -also very nasty. Its a really great group of racers in the Pro 3 group, I was building a car when we moved back to the East coast. The cars have chip and adjustable coil-over suspension - otherwise pretty stock.

sorry for the camera phone pics, but it’s the only camera I had available.

Several years ago I put the camera mount on the passenger side door bar and recorded my footwork for a session at Sebring. Later, I aimed it at the driver for a session. With some creative editing on two VHS VCR’s, those two angles and the regular out-the-front view made a cool video. I had to time it correctly and it was tough to know where I was on the track, when watching the two lower views, but the views blend fairly well to make the laps correct.
It’s still fun to watch.
