From HPDE to SpecE30. One man's blog.

For anyone who is interested,

I’ve started writing a blog about my track experiences & expenditures from the first moment I got bit by the “track bug” through present day (HPDE2), and beyond (Spec E30).

enjoy…

Thanks, very informative! Makes you look twice at the Spec E30 cars for sale in a different light…

No doubt…

I actually have just over 15k invested so far. That includes the car, fixing it up, general maintenance, event fees, club membership fees, vinyl shop fees (I was getting vinyl numbers each month, but have since gotten a set of magnetic ones). It also includes all on my paddock stuff… e-z up canopy, jack, stands, various specialty tools, etc.

They told me not to do it, and I should have listened! Oh well… It’ll be interesting to see it unfold.

I want to publicly thank Fritz. He agreed to haul an engine to VIR from Northern VA for me. I met him this evening and loaded it up in his truck where he agreed to let it live until next weekend.
This is a great community.
