Here’s a picture of Goldmember for ya. Also, do you have any recommendations on seats? The Kirkey aluminum ones are comfy. Can you pontificate for me on the relative merits of the different kinds out there? Or would this be easier to do in the evening at CMP with a proper beverage in hand? B) Thanks.

Bob, no sermons on seats…If the shoe fits, wear it. Some like steel-tie shoes,some like penny loafers, some like running shoes. Seats and their safety merits can be argued until the sun doesn’t shine. If the shoe fits…

All you Mid Atl boys gotta have cabin fever by now, I know I do.
Good trash talk guys, but when it comes down to it, I know everyone’s just scared because I’ll be there. 
Seriously though, I’m looking forward to a good season with everyone. I really hope we have a good turn out at CMP. It will really kick off the season great and it will be tons of fun and I’ll bring the margarita’s.

Definitely looking forward to kicking off the season in a few weeks. CMP should be a great opener and I actually have some experience at this track so I won’t be racing on it cold (like Roebling). Hopefully we’ll be able to reel in your Dad…
I am pretty sure I will be racing, out west now, but will register soon…if I have any money in that account…

If my car would be ready by then I’d be down there.
I’ll be attending a good many SE races this year since I’m in Charlotte.

Found some old in-car video from CMP. Not from the Spec e30 though. It’s from my ex-BMWCCA IP car. I was competing with some mod class cars that had more power and less weight. I was a little better on the brakes though. Couldn’t catch the pole sitter though.

Sounds like a pretty good field is shaping up; I hope somebody besides Childress has a video camera. It’d be nice to see what’s going on at the front-end of the pack too.
