Enough about exhausts & sway bars; VIR ROLL CALL

#1

Who’s going, which events are you doing, when are you arriving, etc? If you are driving in the enduro, who are your co-drivers?

And if you feel the need, feel free to mention whether or not you will be running the awesome spectacular wonderful incredible required exhaust.

#2

I’ll be there all weekend! Tip your waitress.

The plan is to roll down with my Salazar comrades on Thursday. We’re driving sprints and enduro, all on a old power-robbing exhausts. I suckered James Clay into driving the enduro with me, and I think that Eric Wong (GTS superstar) is pairing up with Stephen. Only problem with James driving my car is that the crotch strap will be loose for him. I need extra room down there, if you know what I mean. That’s right, I keep my ego in between my legs.

See you commies at the track,
-Vic

Hey Vic, did I miss a memo somewhere?

After you balled up your car last year, I thought you said it’d be like 2009 before you got back in the game.

So, did you (re)build, and are you back in your own wheels? Good deal, and good luck!

#4

i’ll be there…vic, you can borrow my crotch strap extension if you need it…

#5

Hey Chuck,
I haven’t advertised it, but the Salazar guys refused to let me sit idle. Thanks to their incredible generosity, I’ll be beating on car #54 (Alex’s car, and the FASTEST former “e” car to ever race in One Lap) for 2008.

Dave - aren’t we sharing a room with Wonger? I hope your strap is double-ended. That doesn’t even make any sense, but it’s funny to me!

I’m doing test + tune Friday to get back in the groove and then sprint races on Sat. and Sun. No enduro. No new exhaust.

Is this the enduro list or sprint list?

#14

Is it just me or is there no Spec E30 in the list of racing classes when you sign up?

I tried it three times. Every time, though, there was no Spec E30.

Anyone else had a similar problem?

Also, where are the Southeast bums this year? I do not see a SE race on your schedule that weekend.

There are only a couple of times a year I get to race the beer gut racing team and the Pattons. VIR should be close enough, right?

With 20+ car fields regularly in the SE now most of us are staying in the SE. Its not like we see a lot of MA yahoos at our races…

#16

Me and my dad will be there as well. We most likely won’t run the enduro this year.

#17

JP - you got a few at CMP. Come on up and mix it up with MA.

Good eye cappy. It WAS there because some were able to register. I have emailed Laura and Sean to find out what happened. It should be corrected today.

Thanks!!!
